The Southern California Society for Microscopy and Microanalysis and the Long Beach LAC invite you to attend Microscopy & Microanalysis 2001 for the meeting with an ocean view.

Bring the whole family and discover the allure of Long Beach. The world-class attractions, from a historic ocean liner to a state-of-the-art aquarium, will amaze and entertain you. Five and one-half miles of sandy coastline offer pure recreational adventures. The city’s cultural treasures, including the one-of-a-kind Museum of Latin American Art, the new Long Beach Art Museum (housed in a 1912 mansion overlooking the ocean) and a renowned symphony orchestra, are truly captivating. Attend a Dodger’s or Angel’s baseball game. Visit the expansive Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), the fabulous Getty Museum, or the extraordinary Museum of Tolerance.
